The Busiest Bonnie Has Ever Been
We returned to Castleford with more stock, new favourites and one unforgettable summer Saturday at Frasers Plus Designer Outlet Leeds.
Returning to Castleford felt different this time.
We knew the location. We knew how we wanted the stand to look. And, after our previous pop-ups, we had a much better idea of the pieces our customers were loving.
So when Bonnie returned to Frasers Plus Designer Outlet Leeds on Saturday 8 August 2026, we came prepared with more stock, more new arrivals and plenty of excitement.
It also happened to fall right in the middle of the six-week school holidays.
Add a perfectly warm summer's day and the centre was absolutely heaving.
From the moment the day got going, there was a real buzz around Castleford — and around Bonnie too.
Coming Back With More
Every pop-up has taught us something.
Which pieces people notice first. Which colours stop people in their tracks. Which styles customers come back to. And, just as importantly, how much stock we need to bring.
This time, Bonnie arrived in Castleford with a much bigger selection.
The rails were fuller, there were more new styles to discover, and we were able to show customers an even better feel for what Bonnie is becoming.
“Each pop-up feels a little less like testing an idea — and a little more like watching Bonnie become the boutique we imagined.”

The Day Before the Day
The part customers never really see is how much work happens before a single rail reaches the pop-up.
With so much new stock arriving for Castleford, preparing it became a full day's job in itself.
Every new piece needed checking, tagging and labelling before it could make its way onto the rails.
One tag at a time. One label at a time.
It is not the glamorous part of running a boutique, but those little details matter to us. We want something bought from Bonnie to feel considered from the moment you first see it to the moment you take it home.

Hundreds of Small Finishing Touches
A pile of Bonnie tags might not look like a big milestone.
To us, it is.
Each one represents another piece chosen for the boutique, another delivery unpacked and another little part of the brand coming together.
There is something incredibly satisfying about seeing the Bonnie name sitting on the rails among collections that only weeks earlier were still being discussed and chosen.
The Castleford Best Sellers
There are always a few pieces that seem to catch everyone's eye — and this time we had two very clear favourites.
Fun, flattering and easy to style, our Polka Dot Capris were one of the standout pieces of the day.
The richer brown tones immediately caught attention and proved that customers were already thinking ahead to the next season.
A Proper Summer Shopping Day
The timing could not have been better.
With the six-week school holidays in full swing and warm summer weather overhead, Frasers Plus Designer Outlet Leeds was incredibly busy.
Families were out for the day, shoppers were enjoying the sunshine and there was a real summer-holiday atmosphere around the centre.
For us, that meant a constant flow of people discovering Bonnie.
Some had seen us before.
Others were meeting Emma and Grace — and Bonnie — for the very first time.
And that is still one of our favourite parts of doing these events.
Seeing someone slow down as they walk past, spot something on the rail and then come over for a closer look never gets old.
What Went Into This Pop-Up
- A full day preparing, tagging and labelling new stock.
- More stock than we had taken to our earlier pop-ups.
- Fresh summer styles alongside pieces looking ahead to the next season.
- A very busy Castleford thanks to the school holidays.
- A warm summer's day that kept the shopping destination buzzing.
- Plenty of conversations, outfit ideas and new Bonnie customers.
From First Pop-Up to Familiar Feeling
It is strange how quickly something new can start to feel familiar.
Our very first Bonnie pop-up at Lakeside Village in Doncaster came with a lot of nerves and a lot of unknowns.
Our first Castleford event felt like the next big step.
Returning again in August felt different.
We were still learning, still changing things and still getting excited about every new collection — but Bonnie was beginning to feel established.
That might be one of the nicest feelings of all.
“There is something special about returning somewhere and feeling that Bonnie is no longer completely new.”
Another Chapter for Bonnie
By the time we packed away, we were tired — but incredibly happy with how the day had gone.
More stock had meant more preparation.
A busier centre had meant a busier day.
And seeing certain collections become instant favourites gave us even more confidence in where Bonnie is heading.
The Polka Dot Capris and Brown Bomber Collection might have been the stars of Castleford this time...
But there is already plenty more on the way.
